Glorious Fall Days
Fall is my very favorite time of year. The warm-ish days, the cool nights, the colorful leaves, the sweaters... What is not to like? Zoë had her first field trip of the year on Tuesday, to the pumpkin patch. Kelly took the morning off to go with us. We figured that this would probably be our only trip to the pumpkin patch this year since Halloween is sneaking up on us so quickly. I know this is hard to believe but we were actually too hot. It was almost seventy degrees outside!
All the children wear brightly colored shirts when they go on field trips (or outings to the park) which is pure genius. It makes them 100x easier to spot in a crowd. How cute are those little munchkins? I could just eat them up.
Tomorrow Zoë and Kelly are having a date night. Her preschool is having Daddy-Daughter Pumpkin Carving Night (no Mommy's allowed). Zoë is beyond excited. She even made Kelly a pumpkin invitation at preschool last week. SO cute. Now I just need to remember where I put the princess carving set... I'm hoping that I can convince Kelly to take pictures but I'm not holding my breath. We shall see. He may be elbow deep in pumpkin goop.

Ha- Annabelle and Ryan did the same thing- her class went to the pumpkin patch last week, then they had a Daddy's night last night to carve. How cute!

The shirts are a good idea. So it looks like you got the whole scool thing straightned out. Did Zoe end up with a little pumpkin or a big one?
