Week Fourteen (March 16 - March 22)
This was another good week. I'm feeling good, have more energy, new allergy medicine is working...nothing terribly interesting to report. Sooo, I thought I would include a tummy picture. It's the least I can do, considering that is about all I have to share. My tummy has definitely popped out over the last week. Frankly, I blame the red licorice that the Easter Bunny (aka Mom) sent me. They might as well be little red sticks of crack. I can't stay away from the stuff. (Well, now I can because the bag is gone.)
Cravings: Fruit and Popsicles
Aversions: Fast Food (or anything greasy/fried)
Birr Baby:
The baby's thyroid gland has matured and the baby begins producing hormones which will be used throughout his or her life.In boys, the prostate gland develops. In girls, the ovaries move from the abdomen to the pelvis. The baby may have learned to suck its thumb by this point! The bones are getting harder and stronger by the day! The baby's skin is very transparent still. Lanugo (very fine hair) covers the baby's body and will continue to grow until 26 weeks gestational age. The baby is 3.42 inches (8.7cm) long and weighs about 1.52 ounces (43 grams) - approximately the weight of a letter!
Look at my girls............how precious is that picture!! I also love the one with Nana in her tiara! Your little tummy is sooo cute ~ does Zoe touch your tummy? Just wait until SHE starts kicking ~ Zoe will love that! Thank you for the photo's ~ it Killed me not to be able to see you in your Easter-Best!
